The Thread that was once about GAA Betting in 2015

Did Patrick Horgan 25/1 HOTY and Tadhg de Burca 9/1 Yhoty

Christy Ring time again

Derry @ 1/9
Derry v Mayo

Meath @ 4/5
M
eath v Wicklow

Kerry @ 1/10
Kerry v Down

Kildare @ 8/11

London v Kildare

Pays something like 3.6/1. Worth a tenner.
Derry & Kerry are certs, London seem to have regressed significantly of late (while Kildare won the Christy Ring last year) & Meath should shade Wickla.

What’s the handicap on the Cork Waterford game?

It’s -2 mate.

From what I’ve read on here I’d have thought Corks handicap was their S&C coach.

Tipp u21s value to beat Tyrone at 11/8

A week early - Offaly + 2 v Longford 6/5. If Offaly are going to win, they will win with a few to spare as are total confidence team

Had a speculative 1pt on B.Duggan for YHOTY @16’'s. He will be the free taker and is a consistent scorer from play… if he starts.
S O’Keefe @8’s for all star keeper.
A steady to large amount of cash going on SMB to win the Clare hurling championship, from themselves I presume. The Prices on Cratloe and Clonlara are drifting as a result. Cratloe well worth doubling up again for the hurling and football. Might find it difficult to put decent money on it though…

Tyrone u21s to beat Tipp @ 5/6

:o

Have you checked the weather forecast for Parnell pk ??
It’s dire for the evening. That type of muck and shit and moullocking will suit Tyrone better that it will the Tipperary lads.
Maybe there’s merit in your tipping.

Au contraire but I feel we will still win. My main worry would be Tyrone getting wiped out in midfield by the Tipp giants but I feel our overall superior footballing ability and mentality will see us through. I feel that for Tipp to win they will need to be getting at least 70% of the primary possession in the game. I think Donegal will have by far Tyrone’s toughest game in the u21 campaign.

I agree with most of that. Especially the mid field bit. Can’t see Tyrone being as naive as Dublin were and landing any ball whatsoever into mid field. I think the Tipp half forward line will be the most crucial area today.
Can’t see Tipp winning today.

You had me scrambling to back Offaly +2 there are 6/5 but it’s Offaly -2 you numpty, in other words Offaly to win by 3pts. Bit of a difference to say the least.

Would expect Longford to be better than the last day but Offaly were much superior alright. They’ve a decent forward unit who know each other well from Caltra and Niall McNamee looks up for it this season.

What are you on about, the weather would clearly e an advantage to Tipp.
That’s just a lazy generalization of Tyrone who are not like teams of the past.

Serious odds on this treble
Waterford/Tipp/Ballinora
Long odds I would say, can’t get into PP.

Fuck sake that’s the second time you’ve made this mistake, and it’s wrong on a number of levels. Pull yourself together man

@caoimhaoin something to say about my post above?

The weather certainly didn’t suit Tyrone, particularly the likes of Brennan and Bradley.
