16/1 with Powers
Dublin, Kerry, Mayo and Donegal to win their provinces.
Dublin & Kerry are certainties
Gap closing in Connacht but I still expect Mayo to be too strong.
Donegal have a tough draw but are still the best team in the ultra competitive province.
Definitely worse 16/1 shots out there

That’s in the football by the way
Julio’s Lesser Hurling Competition Accum of the week
Kildare @ 1/4 v Mayo free money. More like a 1/10 shot. They beat them by 12 points in the league. I’d expect something similar.
London @ evs vs Derry. London are after two hard matches which will stand to them*. However it’s in Derry which is a negative as it’ll be the London boys second weekend in a row on the road. Derry are a decent side, but provided they aren’t too drained from their exploits London should have too much for them.
Tyrone @ 1/2 vs Fingal. Fancy Tyrone to come through here. I won’t make up a logic for this one.
Pays 3.75/1
The Kildare bet is worth inclusion in your accums this weekend.
*Will stand to them unless it’s too much, similar to Wexford v Limerick.
Powers doing an offer that if you bet 25 euro on a team to win the football all ireland they’ll give you a free fiver (free bet I assume) every time they win a game. A bet on Dublin would seem like a no brainer as they’ll win 3 games in Leinster easily enough and probably a quarter final too.
So you should be getting a 25 quid bet on Dublin to win the All Ireland at a ‘real’ cost of a fiver or tenner. Small money but sure if you found it on the street you’d pick it up.
Tipp are 25s for Munster with Boyles. They got a tough draw with Kerry in the semi and Cork on the other side. They have never rattled Kerry at senior while they do occasionally rattle Cork. They have beaten Kerry at minor and u21 however and have a couple of strong individuals within the team to drive them on.
They have the midfield and forwardline to take on anyone and will win enough possession. I would have doubts about defence keeping the score low enough for a marginal championship game.
Having assessed all that … I still cannot bring myself to back the cunts, at any price

I was looking at this too. Surely Armagh @ 25’s are worth a rattle? And Galway @ 20s? Armagh will be hard bet surely and even if they lose to Donegal / tyrone and should come through their qualifiers to the quarters at least if they fail? That would be 3 wins either way I think. Galway, likewise? Can someone clarify what’s the rule with the qualifiers in terms of games and seedings?
Kerry will win the football over Dublin, it is a two horse race forget the rest. You would need your head examined backing any of Donegal/Armagh/Tyrone/Derry/Down as they’re all sided together in Ulster and only one of them can go through the front door. Add the likes of Galway, Roscommon, Kildare, Meath, Cork, Tipp to the qualifiers to name a few and it will be a minefield to get to a final for any of those, let alone win it by beating Kerry/Dublin most likely. Monaghan are a better fantasy bet than any of the above as at least they have a huge chance of going through the front door and could find themselves avoiding the big dogs in the QF or SF but that would take a lot of luck as well. It’s Kerry or Dublin again.
I do give a couple others a chance. But overall I agree. The way I see it, last year’s all Ireland champions plus Cooper and Walsh -has to be Kerry again. Hopefully against Dublin in the final. Two of Mayo, Donegal and Monaghan to make up the semis.
People will watch in shock and awe as Tyrone march to a 4th All Ireland.
If Tyrone don’t win it then people will watch in shock and awe as Armagh march to a 2nd All Ireland.

Jesus ye love the marching up north.
March with the O’Neill County.

Derry 1-12 London 2-8. That was always gonna be dicey in fairness
Offaly 9 5 up at half time having been 5 3 down I think. . Saved penalty just before interval. Laois hammering Carlow
Offaly lose 16 13 having been about 12 5 up! 8 years now since a Leinster championship win

I’ve stuck 25 quid on Dublin and 25 quid on Tyrone for this bet. I expect to earn back at least 3-4 free fivers on each over the course of the summer. Will put each fiver on a double or treble each time. I’ll log em here for no other reason than sheer boredom.
galway and clare to win leinster and munster hurling respectively and Kerry to win football all ireland is worth a fiver @ 220/1…
Treble of Laois Antrim and Clare pays over 4/1
I’ll be having some of that.
'Av it.
I wouldn’t back that Antrim team with your money, flakey as fuck, Westmeath will put it right up to Laois and we’ll beat Clare pulling up.
