Benny Herron over 1.5 points @ evens
Paul Devlin over 2.5 points @ 5/6
Handicap draw comes in again in the Derry-Down game
Half way there
That’s the Dublin bet paid for #freemoney
Killyclogher to beat Errigal Ciaran tomorrow evening in the Tyrone Championship at 7/4.
Errigal missing a few key players, Petey Harte is suspended, Mark Kavanagh unavailable, think Ciaran McGinely is ineligible after transferring to a London club as well. Enda McGinley has retired as well.
Killyclogher are going strong, currently have 4 senior panelists in Tiernan and Conal McCann, Dermy Carlin and Mark Bradley. Also have Marty Swift who was a regular in the Tyrone defence for a couple of years so have a good pedigree and the odds look very appealing on them.
Killyclogher are romping home.
For the sake of transparency and to keep some level of discipline I’m logging the Football funded bets here even though the amounts are very small.
25 win on Tyrone outright at 25/1
25 win on Dublin outright at 11/8
Dublin winning against Longford gave me the first free fiver that went on a double of Laois at 15/8 and Waterford at 13/8 and returned 32.73 as the stake isn’t returned.
Running bank -17.27
Would expect at least 5 more free fivers which I’ll be using for bets of no less than 5/1.

How much did we cost you yesterday?
Would have turned a 6.5/1 double into a 14/1 treble. Hindsight is a great thing. I’ll be backing Laois on the handicap against your lot the next day and also outright. Bar the Waterford game, Laois put up high scores in every league game, either 20 points or 20 scores at least in every game I think. What happened today was no fluke. They’ll concede a lot to Galway but the way your lads defend will mean they’ll score a lot too.
They played us off the pitch last year so there’ll be no complacency, what way do our lads defend that you think is weak? If we get a few goals we should do the job. Laois play very like waterford, defend deep and break, so our defence wont be under massive pressure
Calling Limerick folks - my view is Cian Lynch is good value for this bet - any thoughts?

Also, Cathal Mannion has to be underpriced for this market given he was gifted 3 goals at the weekend. Canning is 5 points behind him and surely a much better bet

No.
Not a goal scorer.
This market all over the shop. Cian Lynch and Conor Mac look well overpriced.
The Mannion price is a bit ridiculous

Ah well, I’ve doubled Lynch & Canning
Couldn’t confidently pick a bet this weekend luckily as I thought Offaly, Dublin and Cork would shade their matches. Winning* the hurling league prediction thread seems to have gone to my head and bets have gone all wrong since.
I followed @Mac on the Dublin bet and just threw my first fiver on an accumulator:
Football:
Cork
Kerry
Roscommon
Tyrone
Meath
Westmeath
Cavan
Monaghan
Longford
Hurling:
Kilkenny
Tipperary
Pays just over €37 as don’t get stake back.
Am more worried about hurling selections that football. Have a feeling Wexford will put it right up to Kilkenny and Tipp seem to have issues with Limerick.
*jointly with @The Most Infamous I think

7.5/1 on an 11 team accumulator?

Flynn is overpriced if he’s gonna be on frees for the year. I like De Burca best of that bunch but he might be a bit unshowy and understated to win the award

Mannion has a man of the match and two more chances at another. Wexford will lose to Kilkenny then to clare or limerick in the qualifiers, year over, so macdonald is untouchable. How is john mcgrath that well priced based on nothing yet?
Tipp are favourites for the All Ireland, most awards are picked based on All Ireland semis and final thus John McGrath has an alright chance. Cathal Barrett was 10/1 for YHOTY the night of the Tipp Cork semi last year and won it because of the two All Irelands
Scoring a few goals in a thrashing means nothing in the greater scheme of things and will be forgotten about in a few weeks. By comparison, Cian Lynch got a MOTM for scoring a few points against Clare and those scores were much more valuable. Not dissing Mannion at all but his price is influenced by one performance which won’t mean anything come September. Mannion also won’t have the opportunities Lynch, McDonald and others will have in the U21 championship during June and July.
