Can one not be offended byothers ignorance even if it’s not directed at them?
You are avoiding the question though.

Of course. But why would it matter particularly if you were offended or not? I was offended. That’s enough for me.
I’m not avoiding the question - or not intending to. Nobody complained, nobody reported any post that I saw anyway. I just think there’s enough funny/interesting stuff on here that can be moronic and stubborn and woefully misguided and pretentious and offensive and occasionally insightful without that sort of childish stuff. Some 30 year old roaster giggling away to himself because he thinks he’s pushing the boundaries by attacking tired old topics like homosexuality is fairly depressing and I’d rather not have it here.

Ah right captain, I’m on board. I was similarly offended and it should of course matter that I was offended. While I agree with all of the 2nd paragraph, the first one is hilariously arrogant. You seem to think you have more of a right to be offended than someone else. Is that an oxymoron? Or ironic? Or plain hypocrisy? It’s so fucked it’s hard to classify.
So if say someone complains about let’s say rad ism that offends them, do you have to be offended as well to take it seriously?

To answer your last question: no, but it has to be offensive to be taken seriously and not just someone being ridiculously over sensitive or missing a joke or whatever.
I don’t have any more of a right to be offended than anyone else and I don’t know why you’re intent on making an issue of this. There were posts that were offensive. I thought they were and I removed them. It’s very hard to say this next bit without sounding like a dickhead, but: that’s my role here - to decide whether something offensive should be deleted. That’s not any of the words you mention, that’s just how a forum works. It has an owner/administrator whatever.
But I am confused anyway. You said on the last page you weren’t offended. You’re now saying you were. Odd. Anyway, it matters not. It was offensive.

Not offended by the cork stuff. Constantly mildly offended by the homophobia and racism. However it’s only tonight you see the issue. Hence my questioning the motives. Alit of the same said here all the time.
It looks to me like a cynical attempt to win favour with Brian Kennedy and the Irish rugby team.
Fully onboard with the pro Muslim thing, perhaps a light hearted cartoon to set the tone for the new era would be appropriate?
Ok. To be clear, the fact that those people were from Cork wasn’t the offensive bit.
You are not getting, or refusing to, it really are you.
Is that why you are afraid to attend LK inter-county games?
If it is humour, he is getting it. Unfortunately you’re missing it tonight kev
He just doesn’t get it fella.
my wife the closest thing to an arab you could meet…

I have regularly felt discrimination on here since confirming my asexuality. Are you going to clamp down on this as well?
Posts are regularly deleted, just no issue made of them most of the time.
My nighttime moderating shift is nearly over.
