False equivalence. One has vast political experience and is eminently qualified to be president. The other is a democracy denier, criminal scumbag, anti-Semite, Muslim hater, and serial rapist who is out to destroy the US on behalf of Russia.
You don’t need a majority of the American people to win. You don’t need a majority of the voters to win. Trump could win in 2024 with as little as 35-37% of the vote.
Biden won Arizona by 10.5k, he won Georgia by less than 12k and Wisconsin by 20k. If those three states had stayed with Trump, it was a 269 each tie and Trump would have been back in on Pence’s casting vote.

Sure he’s almost guaranteed to get 35% of the vote just by being the Republican nominee.
Normally a Republican nominee is guaranteed to get around 46-47% of the vote at least. But that nutcase Kennedy is polling around 20% and it’s possible he could go higher because a hell of a lot of Americans are nuts.

There is a small but growing number of republicans that would like to see liz cheney declare herself as a third independent candidate. While she wouldn’t have a snowballs chance in hell, it would split the Republican vote enough
It’s hard to know who he’d hurt more, probably not much in it I’d say. It’d be about who he’d hurt more in the key states. I think the Kennedy leaning Trumpists are probably softer than the Kennedy leaning potential Biden voters, ie. more soft Kennedy leaners return to Trump than to Biden. If polling closer the time suggests Biden is benefitting more from Kennedy’s presence as a disruptor, Kennedy will pull out.
