That kid the Fins have in the halves is an absolute gun. Didnt see todays match but watched him half a dozen times thus season and the kid is something else. Big unit too. Going to be top 10 player in the league within 3 seasons.

I only really started watching NRL during the summer when the panthers were on a losing streak. They were 22/1 for the title, regret not doing it now.

One of the best features in nrl is salary cap. Means a certain eveness across the comp but also, as teams get successful, their players get picked off ss command higher wage at other clubs
Penrith have lost half their starting 13 over past couple of years due to their success and are still the best in the comp. Theyve managed it better than anyone and a lot of it through development of their juniors who they bring through.
Its fantastic sporting story and example of what true sports clubs can be in the professional game if the right framework (ie salary cap) is employed
