The waxing lyrical about the issues with the Mayo Footballing Psyche Thread

We used to be a proper country.

This would be a grand story if mayo went on to win the all Ireland

An awful needy bunch.

Incredible how universally loved those Mayo teams were looking back. Much like the Waterford team, they were loved in a way their more successful rivals never could or would be.

Time has only solidified this.

He’s off again

I 100% agree that funds within county boards should be managed properly and anyone stealing money in these situations is a cunt.

But then, on the other hand, this fella is a clearly a complete egomaniac cunt too.

This Tim O’Leary fella seems the type that might fancy a run for the Áras.

Is there any chance the taxman might actually level the playing field for counties regarding the paying of management/backroom/hanger ons as the Gas don’t seem to care

Hes a bit of a Sean Gallagher by the looks of it.

No chance. All the smart counties are hiding them under the table. And we all know what Peter Quinn said about the tables.

Big congrats to Aidan O’Shea who scored his first point in a Croker final today on his 13th attempt. Lucky for some.

He could be a bolter for the summer.

@binkybarnes was softening towards the Mayos earlier, understandable given his toes maybe. @Spidey will never give poor Aido a chance though

Nasty stuff of a Sunday night. Very nasty.

They deserve every morsel of their misfortune. Cunts.

Great to see this, Aidan’s brilliance being appreciated before he hangs up the boots. He will always have the critics who love an easy target, but you can see that Spillanes admiration for him is entirely genuine. The antics of COC only elevate O’Shea further.

Has there ever been a more disliked footballer from Mayo than O’Connor?

Has there ever been a more universally disliked player from anywhere than him?
