That’s some cold rain. I shaved my head to look more like Joe Rogan and could feel every drop slamming against my head

A few pairs of animals around the city centre this morning.

Forget the light feet, even Gordon would want to hotstep it in this manky weather

America must have been a tough tough place to live before modern heating systems.

I had forebears who emigrated to Minnesota. I always wonder how bad life must have been here that Minnesota in the winter was a better choice.

Ignorance is bliss.

Been nice enough here for the last few days. I hadn’t paid much attention to the forecast and had intended to mow lawns today. By the time everyone stopped annoying me, I realised it was 41 degrees outside. Ffs, I’ll have to spend all day tomorrow mowing.
46 in Wilcannia today out west where Mrs Fitzy spend most of her childhood.

I had a look at Wilcannia there now because I had never heard of it.
At first it seemed like a one horse town, which it probably is, but there’s some nice old buildings there, if the whole place is a bit spread out. :+1:

@Fitzy wont be happy with that.

Ah lovely.
It was badly needed by all accounts.

It’s been raining a good bit in January, and forecast for the next week. There’s an amount of snow in the mountains!

This storm might be just what America needs

Cactus friend of mine was begging for rain down there.
