Glorious again today. A suit is not the way to go.
Never woke up to such heat in this country before. Can’t remember summer days like this since '95.
Yeah, 1995 was the last time I remember it being this hot in the morning at this hour.
Knew you’d remember that mate.
Our homesteads are just not built for heat, like a sauna all night.
It’s taken a couple of days but I’ve managed to regulate my body temperature now and I’m pretty comfortable apart from in the gym last night when I was sweating doing my stretches.
84 was hot as well I think

fucks sake, that is a normal day here for three months.
Let it all out mate-we are here for you.
Yep. That was some summer. Pretty much like this from May to August. We had a bunch of lads from Clare painting the house and had great banter with them about the hurling. Kid Chocolate wasn’t one of them. Training for the newly established U-12 team in Eslin. Cycling to training in the sweltering heat. Listening to 5 live every half hour for transfer news to see if Liverpool were going to buy anyone. Being delighted with the signing of Collymore and thinking we had the league sewn up for the next season. And then of course the music. Great times.
Yerra fuck the country is in shite, we’re the ones left to keep it afloat, give us this balbec ya prick.
Best of luck Sunday mate.
how long til people start complaining?
Pfft, it happened 2 days ago. This is Ireland, people always complain, its our god given right.
I slept in cause of the heat.
What kind of weirdos remember whether it was warm or not nearly 20 years ago?
The summer of 95 was iconic mate. Oasis ruled the charts, the revolution years were about to kick off in hurling and the whole Laois was about to go mental about a group of teenage boys*
*steady on TAN
