Enniscorthy’s in floods and ol’ Wexford is gone, and not a hope of the Barrow I’ll cross.

Looks like I won’t get home this weekend. Bridge in Enniscorthy is flooded, and the back road through Ferns ain’t looking good either.

Fields are rumoured to be low lying in that area.[/quote]

now would be a good time to rise up against the brits so, as they won’t be able to bring reinforcements from the castle.

But all we have are pikes-think that’ll be good enough?

Evidently the Western Road, North Main Street etc are all flooded. Fucking stranded here for the day.

A herioc sacrifice is whats needed to rally the nations spirit.

Will the troops at Kinsale be able to land in this weather?

Sure give it a shot. The whole country will be behind ye.

From a safe distance of course.

How bad are the main roads Turenne? Need to get from Galway to Bandon either tonight or tomorrow morning.

Bandon was the worst hit according to this mornings reports. Yesterday they were turning back everyone from the halfway roundabout.

I’d abandon any plans to go to Bandon.

Could ask the French to give us a ‘hand’ I suppose.

Apparently Tipperary has been cut off from the rest off the country.

37 degrees here today, it’ll hit 41 on Saturday and Sunday. Its not even summer. Bad summer ahead here, we’re going to have a serious amount of fires.

Of course, none of this weather is related to climate change at all…

Ya, it’s must be about 300 years at this stage.

FAO Turenne

12.12 Lectures at University College Cork will be postponed from Monday 23 November until 30 November 23rd 2009 due to flood damage in a number of key buildings.

Bad weather predicted tomorrow and Sunday as well I think, we are also due a spring tide in the next few days which will really exacerbate the situation. We could finally be rid of Cork.

Hopefully some of the western sea-board will float off into the Atlantic and stay there.

Bandon’s supposed to be completely fucked. Not sure about the main roads, I’d avoid country roads as much as possible though.

Also, Bandon’s a hole at the best of times.
