I remember it well.I helped the auld lad tie down a new turf shed he built a few months before.He was afraid of his life the wind would blow it into fermanagh and the turf would be soaked,not to mention the money hed have to spend on new corrigated iron for the roof.

As per your lovely post yesterday I actually use Knockpatrick as my weather gauge. I’ve a perfect view of it out my back windows, but if I can’t see it it means the rain will be with me in 5 minutes.
