The Weather Thread

A little dusting on the ground here in South Dublin. Reports from South Leitrim say that around 4 inches fell overnight.

Very picturesque in Galway at the moment. A pleasant change from the relentless fucking rain.

Grand Canal Dock in D2 is frozen over now. This is beginning to look like one of those once in a lifetime weather events.

Came off the bike last night and can hardly fucking walk today.

Who was she?

What a day here in the mid-west region B)

It’ll be 2011 before I’ll be riding anything at all again, I can tell you that much. My tyres are Schwalbe “Blizzards”. They’ll be getting a strongly-worded letter from me.

Pegging down snow now in Dublin City Centre

FFS.

+1

The same amount of snow has fallen on my lane in the last hour as was there at the peak a few weeks ago.

On the plus side I got to leave early

It’s cold out there.

Airports being shut down across Europe now…

Dublin airport now closed.

I paid a fortune for flights home for Christmas - will I get my money back on them if the flights are delayed for a day or two for a few days or am I forced to take the next available flight?

Holed up im a city centre pub, its gridlock out there. Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas…

Looks like Dublin area is in for a heap of snow over the next few days. Small thaw coming Christmas Eve and full thaw Christmas Day.

Now that Dublin has been hit its a total disaster for everyone.

depends tinnion, when are you due to fly ? the airlines are supposed to give you the options on a card if your flight is delayed over 2 hours or cancelled

Absolutely freezing in Galway. Canal frozen over now as well. Tough times for tramps.

Will you be able to return to Humberside for Christmas??

Galway is frozen.
