Eh private estates? Get the community association together and employ someone to do it, depending on the size of the estate it may only cost 20-30 euro’s a house. I am just shocked at the lack of community organisation in modern Ireland, especially Urban Ireland. All they want to do is bitch and moan about what not others are doing for them. Fuck off and deal with it yourself. Where i’m originally from they have a great community spirit, and local farmers or tradesmen or whoever just get things done. Where i live now nobody even knows the person next door, its fucking weird.

My eyes were opened big time in the States, the places i lived there was far better local community awareness and pulling together in times like this. A snow plough was just hired, and salt brought in and there was no more about it, the residents paid, small money too. A guy would plough a reasonable sized estate for 200 dollars, might take him an hour or two. People were getting looked after cheaply, but he was still getting very well paid.

There aren’t too many “local farmers” living in suburban housing estates, but I’m sure most of those that do would have a snow plough handy alright.

It’s fucking freezing in Dublin city centre today. Fierce cold. Fingal’s natural beauty was breathtaking under that duvet of snow this morning though.

Unbelievable scenes, first proper snow shower I’ve got here this year. Not sticking yet. Roads are lethal. Fucking soft Dublin cunts hogging all the salt to keep 1 road open.

Who said anything about local farmers in suburban housing estates? They don’t have to be from there to employ them? And most farmers have equipment that can double up as a snow plough, even if its not a “Snoe plough”. Its just an example of Irish people wanting everything done for them, for free, and then moan about it when its not done. Its the likes of Fagan i’m on about now, not you.

Absolutely pelting it down again in south county dublin. Must have been close to 9 inches fell in last 24 hours. if it doesn’t thaw till christmas day then there’s no hope of leopardstown happening.
