Weather has been savage recently. Hurling weather is coming.
Did anyone know it only rains one day in 19 in Ireland? i was quite surprised when i heard that.

I bought a sea rod a week ago in Lidl and took it for a test drive after work the other evening. They had a good few other rods there too, and good enough quality. I caught SFA on my first evening. I need to get proper gear for it. Might go again this evening as the tide will be just right by the time i get there.
Sounds like a load of bollix Kev.

How Often Does it Rain?
The general impression is that it rains quite a lot of the time in Ireland but in fact two out of three hourly observations will not report any measurable rainfall. The average number of wet days (days with more than 1mm of rain) ranges from about 150 days a year along the east and south-east coasts, to about 225 days a year in parts of the west.
It rains over 200 days a year in places like Galway. Jesus christ, did he even think about what that would mean before he posted it?
His figures would have meant we only get around 19/20 days of rain a year.
I read something like that before Kev, I think it works on the basis that it rains a full 24 hours every 19 days so say it rains on average 5 hours a day then it rains every three days, that’s the problem with the weather here It’s very inconsistent, if it rained non-stop for a few weeks and we had a rainy season we would ne fine.
It’s very warm out there, it’s hard to know what to know besides stay in the house to protect yourself. I might go for a nap to let it pass…
Were you out the fields yet today Dunph? How’s the grass coming along?
Savage day today.
This is a great spell of weather for my garden.
My carrots have come on a ton in the past week. Spuds are just starting to come up as well.
Steak outside this evening me thinks. Ah lovely.
That was worth waiting for.
I was not. It’s too hot out there. The grass in the fields is very long now and will need to be cut. It’s a fine day for the likes of a BBQ.
Will you make round bales this year Dunph? Its very close out there this evening.
Might make a few square bales when it cools off a bit…
The solar panels have hot water hopping out of the tank this evening…
Dunph, wait for a bit of drying, there isn’t a puff out.
Ah lovely. What an evening. Imagine being stuck in a city
Fucking raining in Dublin 6 at the mo.
Was lashing in Gorey there about an hour ago. The sun’s out again now, mind you.
