I’m going up onto the roof of my apartment to make sure we don’t have any loose slates. I’ll then move the car far enough away from the apartment so it doesn’t get hit by a flying slate. I’ll probably plug the aerial out of the back of the telly just in case.

Watch out for flying horses that have been whipped up off the Curragh.

The moisture content in grain this year will be a joke, that’s if you can get the combine into the field at all. Tillage is dead.

I would consider rain to be ideal conditions for a funeral, somewhat befitting the occasion.

Nothing worse than a funeral on a close day.
