I see school teachers are raging a lot of other people got today off as well so are now taking an extra day off tomorrow.

They will be raging. They’d have got away with the one day as a freebie but now that it’s two the schools will probably open during the Easter break and it’ll fuck the lovely holidays they already have booked for then.

I must be an idiot for wading into another “gas lads” thread (cc @myboyblue) but the article headline is talking about opening up schools at weekends. @Juhniallio clearly said that the days will be made up at Easter. The article confirms his stance:

the school authority may decide to reduce mid-term breaks or holidays to make up for time lost

The February mid-term break may be reduced by up to three days subject to the requirement that all schools must be closed on the Thursday and Friday of the week in which this break falls.
