The who is going in to work versus who is (Not)WFH/taking AL tomorrow thread?

Things have gone incredibly smoothly so far this month. I’d say I have a day and a half’s worth of slack built in already. Nice to have it first thing next Monday morning. Nothing worse than having to peak early in the week.

What a dream…no work to be done and nothing you can do about it only tut tut

Have been remote the last few months but have been informed they want us on site 5 days a week going forward. Would get mileage but I don’t fancy 3 hours of driving each day.

Time to update the CV. :smiling_face_with_tear:

Have you told them, no fuck off?

@mikehunt time to begin mentoring

I’ll be using ChatGPT to get a strongly worded email in place.

Plenty work out there anyway.

You are entitled to a months notice of the change in circumstance if they haven’t given you that.

After the month I would hand in the months notice and say I’ll be doing that from home as well, go suck a lemon

Want or need?

Do the TFKers a solid and push back on this and document everything that happens as you do.

Round up everyone affected and mass resign

Also, what does your contract say?

The far side of the whole constructive dismissal thing that this moving of goalposts is intended to be.

Requirement to be on site.

I’d say they’ll be a few making moves or at least threatening to.

Don’t make it easy for them anyway. FIGHT THE POWER

Everyone should be entitled to work from the couch

Going from fully remote to fully back to the office is drastic.

What about the HYBRID model?

The anecdotal evidence of places pushing the return to the office to one degree or another is racking up. Real renewed efforts post summer holiday season.

I had a major win recently. There was a cunt-off between two massive cunts. I out-cunted them. Not out of the woods but I’ve played an absolute blinder. The other party is seething.

Just to clarify @mikehunt, are you regarding yourself as one of the cunts in a two-cunt tale? Or were you battling against two cunts, @mikehunt?

Three cunts really. Two against me.

I’d subscribe to a Dilbert style Mike Hunt comic strip. The list of possible titles is endless too

“Tell me, what did your employer do that was so unreasonable that you were left with no other option but to leave ?”

“He asked me to work at the address stated on my contract , the fiend !”
