What’s the general feeling re the Greek and the fbi? I always thought the fbi guy was a snitch but the general sense is the Greek was an informant to the fbi as opposed to being some way connected to that San Diego agent.
The Greek was helping the Feds with their anti Terrorism assault which was huge at the time, due to his international contacts and distribution channels. The Feds essentially turned a blind eye, as well as tipping him off on local police work likely to incriminate him. That seemed to be the agreement.
It showed again how the overall policing system can go against the what is best for stopping crimes at the lower levels.

Yeah, died young enough. Read before that he was an acting coach for a lot of the young lads, particularly during season 4. RIP big man.
Sounds like he was a decent sort too:
