Countries allowing legal hunts needs to be addressed tho, but most if the deaths come from lions attacking human live stock, would you leave your family starve to save lion numbers?
Iâm not justifying any killing and am as horrified as anyone about dwindling numbers of a lot of wildlife, but it ainât as simple as blaming locals.
Thatâs all beside the point being made by the people who were predicting it. Local shooting is a small issue. Increasing populations and a multitude of environmental factors are the issues. The people saying this, backed by some science as well have spent 30 years tracking wild Cats they have noticed a higher than normal implosion of Lion Prides as well. Where Sister Lions attack and kill each otherâs cubs and kill themselves. This always happened to some degree, but itâs far more common now and they canât explain it.
But, seriously? Thatâs fucking shocking. I thought it was tigers that were in more trouble. And weâll be inundated with gazelles.
Tigers are fucked as well. Indian Leopards are down to the last few, mostly thru shooting. The continued spread of Indiaâs population is a major issue.

Itâs awful.
Tis easy for yanks and europeans to tell Africans to stop expanding and encroaching upon the land is all Iâm saying.

Fucking hell we are some shower of scumbags.
Who fuckin cares kev im sure theyll have a few in a zoo somewhere
So just because a European who cares about the worlds wildlife is concerned about it, they canât have an opinion on the mistakes being made by Afticans now? The same mistakes made by their forefathers which they are well versed in?
Anyone can have a vested interest in these cats, they are in Africa and nowhere else. Should they be just left to die off?
Everyone is not British imperialist just because they have an interest in African wildlife.

I never said any of that merely said Itâs easy judge⌠Itâs like the same yanks and europeans trying to dictate to developing countries on how much Co2 they can produce after generations of running amuck themselves⌠But Iâm on the same page as you essentially.
Martin Van Buren was the only US president to speak English as a 2nd language.
Ironically, he was also the 1st US president actually born in the USA (i.e post independence).
Kev, have you seen any graphs on population growth? They are frightening and if this rapid growth continues the earth wonât be able to sustain humans, let alone lions.
It will be game over for a lot of these fucks come 2050. They will be fleeing their famine and drought filled lands in anything that will float- most will drown, the rest will be murdered if they come within x amount of miles of the coastlines of developed countries. This above all else is why we need to rejoin the commonwealth. We will be over run by zulus and nappyheads as we do not have the capability to defend our shores⌠Detention capms with desease will spill over and rip our country apartâŚ
The good news is that this is not until the Summer of 2050, so we can kick back and relax for another 30 odd years and by which time we will all be on the way out anyway.
Itâs definitely scary stuff. Watched a great documentary on BBC which tried to determine how much resources the world does produce, and could produce in terms of food and energy; followed by how much of that people consume in the rest of the world. Basically, in order for us to live in the style we do people have to live in extreme poverty elsewhere. If resources were divided equally among people/nations we would be losing about 2/3 of what we consume now. Itâs only going to be exacerbated by the time population hits 9billion in 2050.

For example⌠deodorant, do we really need it? @Rudi is not fooled so easy.
Deodorant is not a necessity. It can give a nice fragrance off but some people use it to mask for their terrible perspiration problems. They think regularly changing their attire, smothering themselves in spray and washing is enough. They really need to see a doctor and make lifestyle changes before these wetbacks just collapse and die.
Obviously Iâm not, if I was I would have a need to change my shirt on a daily basis. Donât take your insecurities out on me, address them with yourself.
David Grohl played one gig with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers in 1994⌠Petty was mad to get him on board full time but when Petty heard that Grohl had the Foo Fighters project in his head he told him to stick with it.
