I tend to associate myself with the Limerick lads around here. I can relate to their madness. Thatâs where the confusion probably arose, allied to the fact that I follow the local GAA scene a bit in Limerick through relations on both sides.
Cue a quip about a Tipp man having relations outside Tipp.
Iâd like to say thanks for clearing that up butâŚ
Itâs the relations inside of Tipp are the problem.

A fellow that I grew up with that I thought was brown bread is actually alive and very successful. I had bumped into the brother a couple of times recently and the conversation was a bit stilted because it was obvious that I should have asked about the other fella but I didnât want to because I didnât want to get the ould oh he died 30 years ago line. Anyway I noticed that the brother had a nice car so I was curious as to what he did for himself now. So I googled him and found his page on linked in and here wasnât the other fella commenting on his skills or something. So then I googled the other fella and here wasnât there a load of stories about him from the business press. The chap had cancer in his 20s which is why I assumed he was no longer with us.
You wouldnât be one for dropping a lad at the first sign of trouble?
Heâs delighted with the saving on Christmas cards
