Correctamundo. Eoghanâs grandad dabbled a little in magic and illusions. He passed his days as an accountant but he made punts vanish (permanently) and managed to give the impression that he was somewhat of a fiscal genius.
Gay Byrne, Gilesy and Hugh Leonard among others were part of the act for a while. They provided the ingredients for the stage show.
Eoghanâs is following in his footsteps somewhat. Heâs telling us heâs on top of things but it doesnât seem so to me. He could Iâd imagine make a house disappear though.
