As if it wasnât bad enough , GĂĄrda Williams was the Leitrim Guardian Person of the Year back around 2010. Between himself and Tommy Conlon, that boyâs school in the town has a lot to answer for.
Williams would be a distant relative of the actor Patrick McGoohan whoâs father came from the same townland as him. His mother and McGoohan would be cousins. *

Patrick is a relation of Peter McGoohan I believe. He used to drink in Mohill.
That would be well known, his family are Hollywood royalty. His real name is Nicolas Coppola but he changed it for acting as he didnât want to live off the family name. Which is noble enough. He was a fan of the comic book Luke Cage, which is where the name came from. He also has a son named Kal El, so is obviously a comic book fan. He has loads of relations that are famous actors and directors etc.
