Things I learned today (Part 1)

When I was a young buck, I wrote a thesis for my degree, or the FYP as it was called back then. I did it on crime in North Tipperary in 1840. There were 40 murder cases at one of the assizes. Some dated back to 1829. Most over land. A bit of drink involved. Pitchforks were used as weapons.

They were 20p rising to 22p with inflation. Yer marses and marathons were 30p. Macaroons and big times 10p. Twix was a mid range offering 25p
