And there’s Julio full sure there was street named after Daniel O’Donnell in Madrid. You can be a mug at times.

He’s a great man to make a crisp to be fair

Wouldn’t let him near electrics though,by all accounts he’s dodgy

For the record. That particular O’Donnell Was a descendant of Hugh O’Donnell, but it’s sketchy as to how. Maybe a brother of O’Donnells or something from the flight of the Earls. Ancestors of his went back to fight in the 1690s as did a lot of descendants of the flight of the Earls but then fled again. From what I’ve read it’s not entirely clear what line he was from. Possibly both.

Mary was right, Daniel’s chancing his arm.

Emigration is a lifestyle choice as the scumbag in your avatar once said.

Bertie also told people living in the states back in the 00s to hang themselves

Was that not people talking down the economy, which was clearly fucked?

Your right sorry.

Every now and again Wikipedia pops up with a beaut. Read until the end…

The directors of the 1979 music video by the Smashing Pumpkins are also the directors of the film Little Miss Sunshine,

I don’t think The Smashing Pumpkins were even formed in 1979?

Taiwan claims an area 372 times the size of the area it actually controls and, despite being an island, has active border disputes with 17 countries

At the end of the civil war in China the losing side all retreated to Taiwan. They believe they rightfully rule China and vice versa. The yanks have said they will intervene on Taiwan’s side if anything happens it’s the only reason they still exist. The island is meant to be a fortress with state of the art everything. The Chinese have played the long game on it, but it’s inevitable that it will end in war at some stage. The Chinese are just waiting for their chance. It’s probably in the top five most likely reasons for WW3

Not only do they not recognize the PRC, they also dont recognize any treaty they sign. So all of the original border disputes China had, Taiwan/Republic of China still have. They dont even recognize Mongolia
