Things I learned today (Part 1)
The idea of the thread is to post things that you learned today that might be of interest to other posters, it’s not for things that are blindingly obvious or things that others posters clearly should know or for mundane things that others wouldn’t be interested in.

I really didn’t think we needed to have super descriptive thread titles here.

Now fuck off.
Which of this categories does his post fall into?

Is it blindingly obvious they are cousins?
Should people clearly know they are cousins?
Is it a mundane thing that no one is interested in?

Blindingly obvious for me.

Grimsby Town have attracted a bigger attendance to Old Trafford than Manchester United have ever done.

The so called “biggest club in the world” are less of a draw in their own ground than Grimsby

You learned that today:eek:

That most of the worlds lab rats and mice are an unhealthy sedentary mess and nothing like their more natural wild relations. Thus much of the science based(particularly neuroscience) on studies of these rodents is somewhat tainted. That’s 80 plus years of science questioned.

They never copped that they were over feeding them and the mice and rats were were not living a normal lifestyle.

It’s gas really.

What relevance does that have Kev? They’re not usually testing neuroscience for use among wild rodents. They’re just testing for changes in the sample they do have. They may even make minor tweaks to adjust again for human use.

Apparently it’s significant. There is really little revealance to other rodents, it’s basically they were judging studies and results on conditions that were not what they were allowing for.

You are a very angry man. It wasn’t an attack on you, I was very casually letting you know It’s been known for years, like one mate to another.

To my horror I have found out that it is the theme tune to Made in Chelsea.

Oliver Holt, the sports journalist, is the son of Eileen Derbyshire, who plays Emily Bishop in Coronation Street.

There is another Dundon brother who has no connection to crime and is openly gay.

Did he tell you after or before you rode him?
