Not a chance, in season they would do 2 sessions,one strongly based on strength,the other power. Obviously some differ, but thatâs the irfu andaussie standards. Sometimes they would skip one or reduce down to one set or very lightweights for recovery or deload.
GAA is completely different and all about tapering for 3-4 games a year. Much like boxing. I would say do 1-2 heavy sets on a Monday and maybe a core\mobilty session on thurs\friday maybe.

@TreatyStones - I agree, and there was a lot of skeptism on my part cos its mental. But I can assure you its a very good source. I actually think this may be let out to cover up or justify recent management and\medical changes.
It does kinda add up somewhat with some of the play that day and if ye look back I mentioned as much. However I never thought it was for such a reason.
