No, not yet @Thrawneen. I know he still works there and is highly respected, as all who toil there ought to be. I called in this evening at about tea-time, to find Herself bantering with Davy Arthur, he of Wolfe Tones fame. Davy’s had a stroke on the opposite side of the brain to Herself and finds his speech compromised. He’s (apparently) very unhappy, lots of fucking and blinding (as best as I got it) but thinks Herself is tops. I might sneak into a role with the Fureys yet.
The War Office, after years of experiencing hospitals, knows that anti therapy/negativity/aggressive comments/whinging, are eventually detrimental. She’s taken up the mantle of
Chief Inspirational Hope in a ward of 12/14 (a daughter of Charlie McGettigan included) and practically has the run of the place at this stage. Hope, determination and hard graft are the keys to success at this stage and she gotten all 3. Discharge to home date set for 08/04/2015 “personally independent”.

I’ll wait a week or two before attempting a clean-up.

That Marley & Me is such an emotional movie. I thought it was just some semi-humorous Hollywood flick. But it’s more, if you’re into dogs anyway.
