Queen Vicky snubbed English town because the inhabitants weren’t loyal and instead went to loyal cork and Dublin and bestowed lord mayors on them for their loyalty. It’s why royals continue to go to these royal strongholds on visits to Ireland.

English town dates back to the 14th century… you lads only opened up the English market a few years ago

You’d have to laugh at this place.

The lads posting all day on the gut health thread are now delighted you can get a plastic straw with your McDonnells.

You couldn’t make it up.

I was in Istanbul last year and it’s an incredible city. Probably my favourite in the world.

And most of that adoration was down to the plastic straws
