The BMW X5 has a fuel tank capacity of 83 litres. I brought a friends yoke to fill it up today given that they’re abroad and I estimated the tank at a quarter full. I said to myself it’ll hardly take more than €100 and merrily pumped away. I stopped at the 100, went and paid.
Sitting into to it again I thought the fkn gauge was jammed at about 80% full but jogged off with myself. At today’s prices it takes about €180 to fill these animals from 0-100% full. I bought cars in my time for that money.
