Things I learned today

indeed, theres no owls or windchimes on it. it’s just a damned good album

The song ‘Zombie’ by the Cranberries was produced by Stephen Street, who worked with The Smiths on ‘The Queen is Dead’ and ‘Strangeways Here We Come’.

Street would also have co-written much of Morrissey’s early solo stuff including Everyday Is Like Sunday.

Thought every music expert knew that.

That’s probably why I didn’t.

He also helped invent Brit Pop with Blur. Also produced Dance the Devil for the Frames with disastrous results. One of the most famous music producers of all time.

His middle name is Brian and he was born 29 March 1960 in Hackney, London[2])
For a time, he was managed by Gail Colson’s company, Gailforce Management

I’m familiar of course with his Smiths stuff but wouldn’t be bothered with the rest of that ould guff.

He did a load of Blur stuff too and three (3) Cranberries albums
