I wonder did the nickname the gunners attract him

Arsenal always had massive cachet. They are the biggest of the London clubs and closest to Manchester United and Liverpool. Even before Wenger.
The Irish influx of the 80s did it no harm either for the footix.
He became a fan in the years 1989 to 1998 when Arsenal went from 9 to 11 league titles and stormed the Twin Towers on multiple occasions. George Graham’s hoofball style convinced him that an aerial threat would be the most effective way to achieve success.
I could see them getting to Barca and Madrid levels with their history, culture and the London thing. Arteta is a savage. I wonder will he get Bercola. They’ve a recent history of great football too plus the French thing.
They’re definitely the Footix choice for the French and people of African descent.
That’s class.

The Chinese frequently use a term “nèi ge.” It literally means “that” or “that one” but it’s used as a filler word, like us saying “um” or “like”
And it sounds very similar to a racial slur. Fella beside me on the train here sounds like he’s recording a rap lyric on the phone
I would always have associated Louth with being the Oriel county.
Oriel Park Dundalk and all that.
Monaghan has been the Farney county to my mind but nobody (well almost nobody) is infallible….

I was aware of that mate but thanks for bringing it to my attention.
The current moon phase is called ‘The Waning Gibbous’. This is when the lit-up part of the Moon’s face shrinks from about 100% to 50%. It starts just after Full Moon and lasts until the Third Quarter Moon. Waning means that it is shrinking and getting smaller, while gibbous refers to the oval-to-round shape.
There is no Italian currently playing in Serie A who has played at a World cup.
New Mexico is about 250 years older than Mexico.
Jamie Vardy has a YouTube channel with rights to broadcast Bundesliga matches. Courtesy of Mary Hannigan in the Irish Times
But it is indeed a very different broadcasting climate this weather and never, in the history of time, was that demonstrated more spectacularly than on Friday night when the Jamie Vardy’s Having A Party YouTube channel hosted a watch-along for the Bayern Munich v Stuttgart game – Jamie having won live rights for seven Friday night Bundesliga games in the UK and Ireland.
No, you’re not hallucinating: the Jamie Vardy’s Having A Party YouTube channel has won some live Bundesliga rights.
And the watch-along was a unique experience, Jamie and his guests Christian Fuchs, his former Leicester team-mate, and broadcaster Manish Bhasin having a few beers and a natter while entirely ignoring large chunks of the game that was being beamed live on the screen.
Jamie reminisced about his Leicester days and hinted at his year in Italy being muck (“it was an experience, that’s all I’ll say”); Christian recalled the time a Bundesliga president once brought “something like a lion” on to a pitch and somebody got bitten by it (“definitely not a dog”), while Manish tried, largely in vain, to get “Vards” and “Fooksie” to watch even a little bit of the game.
This all lasted two hours and 23 minutes. By the end of it, you’d almost have been pining for Michael Portillo’s Dart adventures
