No drink since last Sunday. Up at 6:30 this morning, mug of coffee and a smoke while sitting on the patio and the dog pottering around the garden.
The youngest got up at 8:00am and we had fried rashers and boiled eggs with toast for breakfast as we chatted about life and Christmas. So so nice not to be hungover.
However a friend of mine will be calling at 11:30am for a coffee, as he does every Sunday… It’s all grand until 11:55, on the button, he’ll ask will we chance going for a bottle … That’s the point where it all goes wrong.
