I love him for his loyalty. Others, and perhaps more than a few of us, would have taken the easy option and decided to sell the horse after the success at ascot and reap the rewards and buy a house. No, db doesn’t roll that way and he clung loyally to his investment as the value of the horse plummeted after disgraces in France and Scotland and despite the fact that the horse is now worth little more than he paid for it and the winnings depleted by Elliot’s exorbitant stable fees you won’t hear him moan. Hats off to that for loyalty.
