Finished all the books a few months ago, not the same when you know how it’ll pan out but should be enjoyable all the same. George R.R Martin better pull the finger out and finish the last one before he croaks it.

It was aired at 2am, kid… myself and @Bandage[/USER] stayed up and had a skype party, dressed in wizards hats, while watching it… [USER=15]@ClarkeyCat kept interrupting and dangling his sword in front of the screen, but a great night overall.

The fucker would really want to pull the finger out and finish them up. I think there’s two left but he has a lot to do to finish satisfactorily in two books. There has been a definite dip in quality in them. At the rate he’s going I can see the tv series overtaking the books.

Anyone know who’s the band playing in the trailer? It’s Led Zep’s Misty Mountain Hop, I think, in a bit of a depeche mode style. Anyway it’s class and suits the trailer perfectly.
Yeah, serious chance he’ll pop his clogs before he manages to finish them. At this stage I think he’s just going through the motions and doing it for the sake (and money) of it. You won’t ever beat the Red Wedding for shock factor in any book or tv show. 
Books did dip in value gradually but still enough in them to keep you hooked.

Agree. He has use the same “plot twist” three times now though and the last time it just pissed me off. Arya is still shaping up to do something class at some stage. Still enjoyable overall. He’s going to have to cull some amount of characters in the next book to finish it off by the last.
