Throne of Games - The Greatest Story Ever Told - Winter is here

Tyrion refusing to kneel for his heinous nephew last night was an outstanding scene.

Aidan Gillen is a smashing actor.

Margaery’s granny is a fantastic character.

Only realised last night Diana Rigg is the auld Tyrell wan, in her day

Queers

As if things couldn’t get any worse for Joffrey.

It’s bubbling along nicely…

The startled look on Tommen’s face when Margaery arrived into his bedroom.

Best episode yet.

The dwarf has outstanding moral backbone.

I have three or four episodes to catch up on now -fucking great!!!

Episodes 3-5 of the 4th season are probably up there with some of the worst offerings of the show so far, nothing incredibly interesting happens and there are some pacing issues, very slow moving. Last nights episode was very good however, and sets it up nicely for the final 4 hours

deanerys targaryen’s crusade is getting a bit ridiculous…she takes over every place with the minimum of fuss …we need to see her crew in a good tear up for us to truly believe her powers…would also like to see her getting a good boneing like the one Kal drogo gave her…

I wonder if they will cover the resumption of the cliffhanger in next weeks episode or instead focus on other stories.

I’m almost certain the cliffhanger is dragged out for another 2 or more episodes. It can be an awful frustrating show to watch at times with filler plotlines that could be condensed a lot, Brienne and Pod’s journey being a prime example. Also, as much as I like Ramsay Bolton as a character, this shit with the Greyjoys is tiring (although the end of the season sets him up for much more exciting things)

There was a significant drop in quality in the last few books. Proliferation of characters and subplots without moving on the overall plot of the series very much. The end of the last book set things up nicely for shit to start going down whenever the next one comes out (ballpark in time for Christmas 2015), but I think the show will have a lot of work to do to maintain interest and will probably have to make more tweaks to the books. Even then there’s going to be a couple of weak seasons and interest will wane.

Coming soon…

Ramsey Snow is some operator, I fucking love him

Tyrion.

Fantastic episode last night. The two Lannister brothers and father are miles ahead of the rest in the acting stakes.
One thing I didn’t understand however, were we to take it the Iron Bank gave Stannis the money he requested as per Davos splashing the cash in the brother/bath house? It wasn’t clear.
