The piece in the 42.ie about him being an out-of-the-box thinker is gas. Imagine being so proud of a battle of wits with Leo Doyle that you’re still talking about it 30 years later.
Imo kinnerk sets up a style to play the game. He’s brilliant at it. When teams break up his plan/style he’s looks fairly clueless to me as an in game tactician.

Is the robust tackling with the free hand that Clare and limerick do from kinnerk? effectively, it’s a football tackle which is completely illegal. Clare especially were desperate for giving away needless frees from it.

Tipp will travel now. They believe this is their year again. The team that brought them crashing back down to earth are out. Wexford will be relying on a quick start if tipp get the quick start it’s over.
