Tipperary GAA 2020 - The Famine Is Over - Ireland's Premier Dual County

Fairly sure it was 86.

I wouldn’t know to be honest. Don’t really follow the rugby

Decent team. Good to see a few lads who are stand outs at club like Murray, Heffernan and Gallagher get recognised. Surprised one of the Sheedys at Portroe or Quinn at Nenagh didnt get a mention.

Has Stephen Murray ever got a go for Tipp at all?

He was with the footballers without having a football club

No. Surely has been entitled to a go in the League.

The quality of forwards in Tipp is just ridiculous though when you think about it.

Tis but at the same time not many have been as consistent as him in club hurling over the last 10 or so years. Don’t even remember him playing a winter league game or anything

He is as good as Paul Flynn but hasn’t got the exposure at club level Flynn has. He really is only an inside forward and the current incumbents are a step above him.

Maybe if he got all the chances that Forde got between 13-15. I don’t think he ever played underage for Tipp either. The disbandment of the intermediate championship done him no favours either. It would have given him a platform to shine like it did to others in years back.

Has togged for Tipperary alright

That was a Vocational Schools match.

He was involved with County at some levels.

That’s it. Loads of quality forwards at the moment but what he could bring is pace.
