I was at that game and the game they lost to Clonoulty last year and they looked like an ageing team with very little depth on both occasions. Some turnaround alright

He was a great u21 but dogged by injuries then for a good few years. Think he might be with the footballers

Even borrisileigh beating them the previous year was something similar.
I didnāt think they were genuine contenders any more.
They had the same management for probably the best part of 10 years and changed over the winter. It has done the trick it seems.

38 this year Iād say. He is super fresh and would pass for 25 if you met him on his daily business. Very similar to Gavin O Mahony of Limerick in many ways.

Was on 21s in 03, maybe 04 as well. Gave exhibition v Cork 03
Smashing hurler but had horrid run with injuries and illnesses. Was three years under 21 and would have been a pick most years but think he only started one game at the grade (v Clare in his final year) in which he was harshly sent off in extra time after a very solid performance. Has stuck with county footballers in recent years. Think there was something about him staying loyal to them when chances to go back with hurlers came up. They had managed his training quite well and he felt he owed it to them to stayā¦ I think.

Knocked Sars out now 4 times since 2007, and no championship to show for it.
Have they even won a game after beating Thurles?
2013 they went on a run all the way to the final but 2007, 2018 and 2020 now they lost the very next game.

Theyāve a very even team. Hard final to call.
Kildangan will win it now you would think. They have sorted out their team since Round 1 and look to be flying at the right time.
They kind of got caught up a bit last year with the Intermediate final on the same weekend.
No fans probably a help too.
