Rockwell have been knocking hard at the inter football for the bones of 15 years. Id imagine they would have been favourites to win it most years. Have lost a lot of finals in a myriad of ways. I wouldnât begrudge them one. That being said you couldnât begrudge the Mock with the year it is.

No you wouldnât begrudge Grangemockler at all. They are doing great work underage and competing in A grades now. Most of team are U21. Rockwell like you said have been knocking on the door for 15 years and there is a lot of hurt there. If the old maxim is true that you have to lose one to win one I dont know what this means for Rockwell having been in that losing position so many times before. I think Rockwells physicality and wise old heads will carry them over the line against a young inexperienced team. Players like the Halleys, Alan Moloney, Ryans will dog it out for them.

Iâd love to see Pat Halley and Rocky Maloney win one. Two good tough lads well able to play football.
Halley is a hardy boyo. Well able to mix it. Had many a battle with him down through the years.
And of course Rockyâs partner in crime. Heâll do some singing if they win it.
