Doing a good trade in that spot. Well able to charge too
Looks like Lord Lowry was unable to secure any government money towards works needed on Semple Stadium or the proposed facility at TUS Thurles. A rare faux pas from the Holycross man.
Killarney got 6 million which is a bit odd given it is rarely, if ever, full to capacity. The benefits of having a government minister in the county I suppose.
He’s finished so.
I was talking to someone very close to Camp Lowry yesterday and the great man is very concerned that Jim Ryan in Thurles is going to take a skelp of votes off him.
Ryan is an alright sort.
Would he not put it in the bin? It’s not a pub.
John O’Grady (Culbaire), an All Ireland Senior winner in '58 and 2x Minor All Ireland winner in '47 and '49 has passed away.
RIP
GAA coverage in the Tipperary Star really suffered after his column was retired
Hearing Mark Kehoe the latest not to commit next year.
Going travelling I think.
Noel is going back in for another year.
Noel is one of my all time favourites, however he really should call it a day. 20 years an inter county player next year. Minor AI winner in 06.
Without being harsh on them, because they’re a phenomenal GAA family, but I don’t think we’re at anything* with any of the McGraths playing next year. I wouldn’t be surprised if Noel is starting come championship but that says more about the new cast than anything.
*We’re not.
John has something to offer for me.
Brian is just a good club hurler. Given our dearth of options he probably deserves a panel spot. Wouldnt be near it 2010-2019
Not loss, hasn’t enough hurling and an overrated ball winner to me. I’d go Jake Morris 14 and tell the rest of them to fucking work
Great, we should enjoy him while we can, top man still in the right setup
Looking at the way the fixtures are falling for League and Championship next year, I think the first two in the League are the ones you’d be targeting for results in.
The rest could feature a few maulings.
The U20 All Ireland simply has to be won though and with a bit of style too.
Dunno would I fully agree, he’s certainly a loss to this current Tipp panel. Was really good against Waterford this year scored 0-4 and made the last goal to get a draw. Morris aside you probably couldn’t pick the other five starting forwards looking at next year. Gearoid O Connors form severely dropped off after the Fitzgibbon/League earlier this year. Tynans form dropped off a cliff, Seanie Ryan is an incredible club hurler who can’t translate it to intercounty, Darragh McCarthy has to prove it at senior intercounty level, Darragh Stakelum / Seanie Keneally / Sean Hayes are they good enough? The two McGraths are slow and leggy at this stage. Forde (?)
Holycross 1-20
Clonoulty 0-08
Comfortable enough win in the U21 ‘A’ County Final for Holycross on a sticky pitch. Clonoulty were game but Cross had too many aces all over. Caesar captain and MOTM.
Will be the first of many at this grade for them in the next few years.
Boherlahan win the U21B beating Kilsheelan by 2pts.
0-16 - 1-11
