I was at the South Junior B Football S/F tonight, Brendan Cummins played the whole match out the field for Ardfinnan, 51 years of age. They were beaten.
I played minor hurling against him in 1990!!
An annus horribilis complete for Drom in getting knocked out by Killea (who had 5 Drom natives hurling for them) in the Junior B Mid Semi Final this evening cc @TreatyStones. No trip to Kileedy this year the only positive I guess.
That’s 3 Adult Teams and the Minors all knocked out in the space of a fortnight, all by 3 points or less. I couldn’t even pull into Eamon Butlers in Templemore after the match such is my level of pissed offness.
I hope ye have enough stewards ready in high vis vests for tomorrow’s blockbuster in The Ragg.
Plucky underdogs and 3-in a row chasing Loughmore are a huge price at 13/8. I know they’ve a few injuries but I still think they will win.

Caesar got MOM and was excellent, but I thought O Mara was the main man all day.
Their days of winning County Championships are probably over but all the McGrath’s (bar Ciaran who must be 40) will probably stay playing for another 5 years at least so I dont see them going too far either.
I think they were a bit all over the shop this year regarding coaches double jobbing and paid the price for it.
