My first ever game was the drawn 87 final, five years of age. Always enjoyed Cork v Tipp games. A good healthy rivalry. Much better than the bitter rivalry between Clare and Tipp at turn of century. Both sets of supporters had a fair share of idiots, but th Clare lads trumped all.

think we’ll win this tomorow altho we are fielding 2 of the worst Cork half forwards in my living memory in Bill Cooper and Lawton. the latter hopefully wont start anyway
