Tipperary v Limerick MSHC Semi-Final 2014

I hope Limerick win for Mark Rentons sake. The man could do with something to cheer about after Liverpools implosion in the title race!

If that is the team named we will have officially learnt no lessons from last year

I believe that’s what will start from what I’m hearing. Hickey will track any roaming Tipp forwards leaving the other two to mind the house. That means we’re handing the creation of space to Tipp. Not good.

Our forwards will interchange a lot which means if they have the beating of their man, they’ll move off him. Not good.

With the inclusion of Tobin, we now have no impact sub for the full-forward line. Not good.

The remaining subs likely to be introduced (excepting King) are all midfield/half forward based. If Walsh has to come in it’ll be because we’re in big trouble at the back. Not good.

This has all the hallmarks of a team picked to deal with Tipperary rather than one that says “we’re the Munster champions, we’re going to play OUR game, come and get us ye cunts”. Not good.

Not good at all.

TJ is playing you lads brilliantly here…

Some Tipp lads getting right lippy on Facebook last night.

One lad who warned his fellow tipp men they were getting carried away came out with this beaut:

“Tipperary 3 .17 Limerick 1 .14 that’s my view but I think we’ll have to work hard. Don’t forget Limerick are Munster champions”

Also

“They’re only minding it (munster champ) til we retain it in a few wks… Tipp r flyin it it’ll take a fair team to be em don’t care how biased that sounds…”

These fuckers think they have it won before they turn up.

I have just heard some interesting news in the past few minutes. All I can say is that win or lose TJ & Co will be winners .

PM pal…

On most sites people are predicting Tipp by 8+ but that Limerick will go on a good qualifier run…

PM please if genuine.

Of course it’s not genuine.

Relax the fuckin slacks over team selection lads.

I have sent a PM to a trusted pal, the rest of ye can fuck off.

Some of ye limerick lads are overthinking things a bit. @carryharry I’d be interested in a pm too.

Cheers Har, very interesting.

Agree on all that except that it’s a team to deal with Tipp, last year we picked a team to deal with tipp based on workrate and physicality, this team doesn’t even have that. Glad to see Hannon back at half forward but we lose Hickey as our extra half back who made us tick last year. On the other wing we lose Breen who was effective and gain Dowling who on all known form this year simply should not start. Tobin starting means a very light ff line and no impact sub inside forward. Paudie and Hickey very suspect for the positions they’re picked in. And good hurlers but probably the smallest midfield in Ireland.

If this is the team named, any chance it is some sort of dummy team?
