John Elway personally received millions of money outside of the cap for which his team was given a fine for and which they lost draft picks over. They won the superbowl (twice) during this phase of breaking the cap rules. But hey, that doesnt really count. Itâs all good.

The Broncos cooperated fully with the investigation, sacked the office staff and took their punishment.
The Patriots coach instructed staff to record opposition play calls.
The Patriots QB directed staff to tamper with equipment and destroyed the phone that he used to communicate with them and then fought the punishment handed out through the judici6 system.
But sure whatever youâre into yourself.
They took their punishment for salary cap breaching during the time they won 2 superbowls, their two superstar players taking the bulk of the deferred payment.
But they cooperated and accepted their punishment and sacked the poor unfortunate employees doing their jobs. Therefore not cheating. cool.
