Tom Brady - On Tablet watch

Brady and Harry Kehoe all in the one day. It’s nearly too much to take.

I’m amazed he didn’t mention bill or the pats.

@Thomas_Brady Where can you watch Man In The Arena?

It’s up on IPTV… I’m not sure otherwise. @Copper_pipe or @Gman might know

I’m crying listening.

No mention of New England, Pats fans, Kraft or Belichick in his retirement statement, you love to see it

He said that 2 years ago. Will I ask him to post it up for you to read?

Rob Kraft and Patriots released a statement and Brady acknowledged it but its fair to say the Patriots were conspicuous in their absence from his retirement statement. If it were up to Kraft he would still be a Patriot. I think, from what I heard discussed by several analysts that Belichick wanted to give the QB job to Jimmy G back in 2014. It was a similar situation to the one Green Bay found themselves in with Aaron Rodgers and Jordan Love last off season. Incidentally both Jimmy Garoppolo and Jordan Love were both selected in the 2nd rounds when the incumbent was 36 years old. In another power play by Belichick he wanted Brady gone again years later and got his way. By then it was probably a Neil Young type ultimatum to Kraft i.e. you can have Belichick or Brady but you cant have both.

He had a father/son type relationship with Bobby. He’s adored by 99.9% of Pat’s fans, got a huge reception this year. We’ll find out the rest in a couple if years I suppose.

His book should be interesting

Love was a first round pick, I don’t think it would have been nearly as big an issue if he had been drafted in the second

yeah I think Kraft and Belichick get on, but not really. And similar to Brady and Belichick. But I think Kraft and Brady do get on with each other. Aaron Rodgers had his own power struggle with Favre too, and that ended horribly for Green Bay with the way Favre left. Bradys aul lad said it years ago, that one day Tom and the Patriots will fall out. Manning was dumped by the Colts too who tanked for Luck. Brees I’d say wanted one more year in NO but left. Its almost inevitable for a QB to leave before they want or have the rookie in line to take over.
