Tom Brady - On Tablet watch

I think people are reading into the non mention of Pat’s a bit too much. He left it all out in an emotional message two years ago. As for him and Bill. They had a one on one after the game this year, Bill went and sought him out and they had a 15 minute chat, I imagine a lot was cleared then.

How the fuck do you know?

I imagine… You steamer.

Bill going into the Tampa locker room to speak to Brady… Grown men cried that night.

The team were shit because Manning had held it together as the talent declined. Manning and the Colts didn’t really fall out but Manning saw the writing on the wall with Polian and Jim Caldwell fired. It was a scenario that evolved- the team were shit and Manning was 36 coming off a neck injury so Irsay decided to clean house. For Manning it made sense given that everyone he knew had been fired and the whole organisation was rebuilding.

The rupture in New England was longer in the making. Brady chose well where to go, he might well have bailed before if a similar opportunity had come up.

Did Rodger’s not say in an interview he was giving the game ball to farves son? They must have made up.

I saw somebody say that Brady’s book will be good. I’d severely doubt he’ll do any sort of proper interesting book.

He’s been involved in a lot of controversy and I’d say the Aaron herndanez thing will never ever be touched on.

I can see him releasing self help books and books about tactics and training etc but I’d be amazed if he done a proper book.

He’ll do a proper book but it will be just fluff.

I’d be surprised if he does. He’ll end up doing ten books.

Favre was pushed out the door and played for their division rivals. The ending between him and green Bay wasn’t pretty.

I doubt he’d ever say much about hernandez. He was 3 years in the middle of his 22 year career. In terms of players, there were many more he’d have had a longer and better relationship, but that’s not to say Hernandez wasn’t an integral part of the team when he was there. Just Brady keeps some guys close and others not so much. Hernandez at that point was never really in that same group the likes of Welker, Edelman, Amendola and the likes were.

Oh absolutely, the point being tho that long time legend players will be cast aside if the team believes that’s the way it will be. There is fuck all sentiment involved and it rarely ends well. I’d say brady was sick of all the shite after 20 years and seeing a team in decline wanted to enjoy his last time in better weather with a more relaxed attitude and a proper shot at a superbowl before he retired.

First three episodes very enjoyable. The mentality of that first dynasty team was something else. Onto the losing two now

Was Brady’s last pass to gronk ?

TD to Evans? Did they get the ball back after that?

Sure fournette tied it didn’t he?

Gronk is surely hanging them up again

Watched part 5 of Man in the Arena last night and it was the weakest of the 5 episodes so far I thought. Nothing too meaty in it tho Vince Wilfork was good… Wilfork laughing at the Seahawks throwing it on that play - I would have run it 4 times, but hey, that’s for them to worry about.

The Giants episodes were decent, especially the first one with Michael Strahan providing the Giant’s take. You can tell they still hurt Brady, especially the first one. That Ty Law hail Mary catch will always be the luckiest play in Superbowl history. Every time I see it I still think Eli will be sacked or the ball will hit the ground.

Vindicated!!!

@croppy_boy and @Big_Dan_Campbell will be seething.

Boston newspaper reports that Boston sports team may not as cheated as bad as ruling Organization - revealed by guy trying to sell a book seven years after the event.

Wow!

You better remember to destroy all your old phones after the Lombardi is lifted this weekend. Can’t be too careful.

You’ve been destroyed.
