Woody has been hugely entertaining again tonight

Another interesting show ruined by a crap comedian on RTE

The beautiful Dana on 1976 TOTP on BBC 4 right now

Sinead O’Connor warbling on the Frontline.

It would have been a better show if all the emigrants they picked to tell their sob stories weren’t utter nutters.

RTE2 now looks useful.

Back to the Future on Rte 1 now.

Fantastic stuff

In Bruges just starting on Film4, quite an enjoyable film for anyone who hasn’t seen it…

Only after realising Die Hard 2 is on film 4 now

Ah lovely

THE BIRDS

Story of Lemmy on Bbc 4. Now. Exhilarating stuff

“Wag the Dog” on RTE2 has been good so far, haven’t seen it before. It’s about a spin doctor who decides that the US should invade Albania to deflect attention from a sex scandal involving the President.

Ah shur Hitchcock was just magnificent. And its not even one of his top five films.

Shame I missed this, been meaning to watch it for ages.

Great documentary on on RTE now from 1979 about the Cork Butter Exchange Brass Band. They famously recorded the theme to Halls Pictorial Weekly

Live Big Brother style action from Tipperary on RTE1 now. Sophicticated people…

FFS

Great doc on TG4 on Rose Dugdale at the moment.
