Love/Hate season 3 out on DVD on 17th December. Presume that means thereâs only 2 episodes left?
RTE would want to forget about releasing all this shite and get Bachelors Walk Season 2 & 3 out!
No the last thing we need is another sitcom from RTE about Dubs. Watched Love/Hate last night to see what all the fuss was about. I didnât think it was that great tbh. What we need is a new sitcom set in rural Ireland, somewhere like Meanus, Tournafulla or Kilteely and it would follow the locals around as they cleaned out pig shit, milked cows, went to the mart, drink driving home from the pub, roaring abuse at referees at local GAA matches, riding their friends wives behind their backs etc.
I dont recall Bachelors Walk being a sitcom?
What was the last RTĂ sitcom, are we still awaiting a decent follow up to Upwardly Mobile, or did Ed Byrne have some abomination that Iâve almost entirely blanked out of my memory?
Itâs been done already. Itâs called Killinaskully and itâs shit.
Pure Mule would fit the bill a wee bit better.
I believe on Home Ground fits the bill of what Dunph is trying to say pretty well.
That Bachelors Walk show was a pile of shit yet it got talked up as some sort of sophisticated, celtic tiger, pseudo art bollocks that made Dublin out to be like Paris in the twenties.
âDid you watch Bachelors Walk last nightâ, they would say with a slightly raised eyebrow.
âI didâ would come the reply with a knowing nod, and no more needed to be said.
Fucking rubbish program yet every dicksplash in the country seemed to think it was genius and the three gimpsacks in it were to be aspired to in some way shape or form.
Donât worry about it Piles. It probably wasnât made for the likes of you anyway.
Complete horseshit.
Bachelorâs Walk was quality and didnât aspire to be anything. Easily the best thing RTE ever done.

Can somebody do the clap emoticon for me, that bachelors walk was the most over rated pile of horse fly surrounded steaming shite I have ever in my life watched, it was fcuking rotten
Gimpsacks is a very well chosen word there piles, would I could have put it so eloquently , that shit still vexes me thinking about it
A nothing show imo. Not dramatic, not funny, not anything to it really.
Paths to Freedom remains the best thing RTE has done.
In all fairness, the Riordans was the best show RTE ever made.

The accent on this wan in the civil war program.
I missed her intro, is she from the states?
A new mini series called The Fear is starting shortly on Channel 4, looks to have potential, the excellent Peter Mullen plays the lead role
Is the program any good runt? have it recordedâŚ
