Isaac’s across the road is a fine spot.
Just had my tea in the M&L. Savage. Braised pork in hot and spicy sauce and Choy sum with dry chili
After going to Bloom I got the shuttle bus back to Parkgate street and walked to Fish Shop on Queen St where I had made a reservation for my tea. Here they do a no choice 4 course. I had mackerel, cockles and mussels, turbot and strawberries. It was very nice and I’ll go back. I also had a couple of glasses of a Cretan wine.
Lovely grub and wine in there.
Doesn’t that have 2 places in close proximity? Think there’s another on Benburb Street
Yes a more casual place on Benburb St.
I’ve been there for lunch and got rinsed here for it but it’s very good.
@Fagan_ODowd Ernie Whalley gave the new Chinese restaurant in Blackrock a fairly scathing review today.
You’ll have to buy these Flatty.

Had a nice lunch in Uno Mas there today on Aungier St. Ger Gilroy was there for the duration in the presence of 2 other gentlemen. When I was leaving David McWilliams and his charming family were entering the premises looking for a table for 4 which would be forthcoming. His children were exceedingly well mannered in fairness and a credit to him and the wife.
I later passed Simon Harris on Merrion St of all places.
I don’t know how you do it all.
Checking out another ethnic curiosity here. Oh my street food on Westmoreland Street opposite the Westin.
Specializes in the ethnic food of some region in the north of China. I’m having a pulled pork Xi’an burger. Spicy. It’s quite nice. I’ll be back. I’m the only non oriental here which is always a good sign.

You’re living while the rest of us are only existing
They are also down in the underground arcade at the end of Moore street/parnell street. Tasty stuff.
