They are all quite skilful. They just don’t look it by intercounty standards these days. Seamus Kennedy probably isn’t good enough for Tipp but he’s a really skilful player if you watched him at club level/underage

List your all time galway xv then.

I don’t have the stats for either men but that logic is very flawed

It’s a tough one. I’d be interested in the view of anyones best galway fifteen.

I’ve given other reasons. I was just answering a question.

Apart from a goalie it’d be straight forward enough?

It’s all idle hurling talk til the championship starts. If Martin Breheny is reading this thread he’ll have some lovely filler material for the Saturday Sports pull out of the Independent. cc @Bandage

Wouldn’t.

Off the top of my head

Callanan
Tom Helebert
Daithi Burke
Ollie Canning
Padraig Kelly
Liam Hodgins? Very hard to pick a stand out at 6 as keady was slightly before my time
Padraig Mannion
David Burke
Pat Malone
Joe Canning
Michael Coleman
Joe Cooney
Kevin Broderick
Eugene Cloonan
Damien Hayes

It would not, good Halway teamshave always had 5 or 6 that you’d consider undroppable, assuming you remember the mid 80s what would be your half back line?

Goalie would be easy enough.

Or midfield or half forward line

Hard to pick a standout at 6??? :open_mouth:
You edited :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Joe Rabbitte ahead of Michael Coleman surely?

Personal preference there i suppose

So no connollys, no Iggy clarke, no Eanna Ryan, no sylvie, no Keady etc?
